My given name is Charles Andrews, I’m the Technology Coordinator for Stephen T. Badin High School in Hamilton, Ohio. I have been known as Charles, Charlie, Chuck, Mr. Andrews, hey you and few others not appropriate to mention 😉 .
I remember my Mom mentioning at some point in my youth, that her Dad (Dziadzi-Grandpa in Polish) wishing his first grandson be named Cashmir after him. While her side of the family is 100% polish, she and my Dad decided upon Charles as an English translation. He wasn’t so happy about the change and at some point my Grandfather requested his grandson go by the moniker of ‘CJ’.
He passed away shortly before I was born and for whatever reason the name CJ was just never used. So in honor of my paternal Dziadzia I am using CJ as my ‘photographer’ name.
